Jardine's Professional Dry Cleaning & Laundry was established in 1984 by Dennis and Michelle Jardine.  Our first location was on 2100 South 850 East in Salt Lake City, Utah.  We originally began as a coin-op laundry and provided only minimal dry cleaning services.  As time went on and the business grew, we moved all operations to Clearfield, UT where we provided increased dry cleaning services along with our growing coin-op laundry business.  In 1988, we acquired our second store which our oldest son, Travis, managed.  In 1989, we acquired our third store which our youngest son, Troy, managed. 

During the early years, we grew to understand what made a good coin-op laundry and dry cleaners. Customers wanted a clean store, prompt reliable service, and to be treated well at a fair price.  As the business continued to grow and the need for coin-op laundries began to diminish, we focused on our dry cleaning operations.  In 1988 we began our venture into hotel valet dry cleaning services which provided a leaping stone for our future growth.  In providing dry cleaning and laundry services to hotel guests and employees, we soon discovered that providing same day service with an emphasis on quality and a fair price was essential. Specializing in both, during the mid 90's, we were privileged to add Hollywood to our resume.  We provided all the dry cleaning services to the top rated television show, Touched By an Angel and numerous big screen movies and television series filmed in the Salt Lake valley.  In 2002, the Winter Olympics came to town.  We were only 1 of 3 cleaners in the valley that provided, through our hotel valet service, all the cleaning needs for the tourist, athletes, and television crews / staff.  During that period, our operations were running 24 hours a day cleaning hundreds of bags of clothing each and every day.  We never lost or damaged 1 article of clothing nor had any complaints throughout the entire games.  

By 2002 we were completely out of the coin-op laundry business.  We currently operate out of one location at 442 N. 300 W. and specialize in all professional dry cleaning and laundry needs. By utilizing high steam gravity feed hand held irons, we can boast that we are the only professional dry cleaners in town that still hand press every item.  Our staff specializes in detail with every item they clean and press.

We currently provide valet service to 35+ hotels throughout Salt Lake and Davis County.  We provide a majority of the cleaning needs for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, numerous businesses in the Salt Lake City downtown area, as well as many many loyal and faithful customers for over 20 years.  Our resume dictates our commitment to quality and detailed service.  Come give us a try, you won't be dissatisfied.  Looking forward to seeing you!
